Hola Amigos y Amigas and welcome to the 2004 Amigos Del Mar Newsletter. In this year's newsletter we have an update on what's been happening with all of us here in Cabo both on land and under the water. This year we have included descriptions of the different sites we dive with a view of some of the animals we find at those places. We've got some really great "Summer Package Specials" for divers and to compliment those dive package specials we have some really good "summer deals" on lodging. We've expanded the Marine Life Guide, adding some new pictures, and to finish off we've added links to some of the major airlines serving Cabo so you can more easily find a low airfare for your next visit.
Our annual newsletter obviously takes a lot more than just my input. As in the past, sincere thanks to Marine Biologist, Jose Luis Arreola Robles for his insights on the environment of the Sea of Cortez, Jesus Reyes Castillo (that’s Rey for you past Solmar V clients) for sharing his diaries of the Solmar V trips, and finally thanks to Estella at The Bungalows, Vicki at The Cabo San Lucas Inn, Clint at Marina Sol Resort, Teena of Cabo Realty and Jose Luis of Hotel Solmar for their help in putting together some dynamite rates for our divers for this summer dive season.
Cabo San Lucas is in an area of diverse beauty. We are surrounded by the mountains of the Sierra La Laguna, with settings varying from lush tropical plantings to thorny desert cactus and feature some of the world's prettiest water and most gorgeous beaches. Cabo can also offer you some pretty great diving in the Summer and Fall. Come on down, We’re only a 2 hour flight from L.A. Let us show you a whole new world underwater.
