SCUBA COURSES

RESORT COURSE $100 per person
3 hour introduction to scuba for non-certified clients who want to experience scuba. The perfect opportunity for the non-diver to enjoy the beauty and marine life of the Sea of Cortez in a safe, controlled manner. Guaranteed to be the experience of a lifetime. Students first practice simple skills; then when they are ready they do a 40' or shallower dive with their instructor in the tranquil Bay of San Lucas. Easy and safe and exciting. Price includes equipment, boat charter, certified instructor and bottled water. Not to be missed!

OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION COURSE $450 per person
5 days, approximately 4 hours per day. Classroom, pool and ocean. PADI International certification card issued afler successful completion of course. Price includes all gear, textbook, log book, dive tables, PADI certification fees, pool, boat charter, instructor and refreshments. We run small classes to ensure each student gets the special attention he/she deserves.

SCUBA DIVER CERTIFICATION COURSE $299 per person
3 days, approximately 4 hours per day. Classroom, pool and ocean. This is the new entry level of scuba certification from PADI.  The PADI Scuba Diver Certification card is accepted all over the world. Price includes all gear, textbook, log book, dive tables, PADI certification fees, pool, boat charter, instructor and refreshments. We run small classes to ensure each student gets the special attention he/she deserves.

OPEN WATER REFERRAL $225 per person
2 days of 2 open water ocean dives per day. For students who have completed all their class and pool sessions, including final written exam. We issue their PADI Open Water Certification card after they successfully complete their 4 open water dives with Amigos Del Mar. Students must have in their possession a Student Referral Form, signed and dated by their previous Instructor. This form is valid for 12 months only and is a prerequisite for enrolling in this particular class. Price includes boat charter, PIC certification paperwork, instructor and refreshments. All scuba equipment may be rented for $5 per piece per day; as with certified divers the max rental charge is$25 per day.

Scuba Fact Sheet

All ocean dives with Amigos Del Mar are boat dives. Other scuba courses are available, such as the new PADI Advanced Course, Rescue Diver Course and various Specialty Courses. Private instruction also available.
